Recruitment & Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) checks
The Thurrock recruitment team have many years of experience working with schools to recruit to posts of all levels. Through this experience we understand the demands on a school to ensure they have the right candidate to help support and fulfil the potential of their students. We are aware that some posts can be hard to recruit and hard to retain staff. We will work alongside you to maximise the potential of the recruitment process to ensure the calibre of candidate is found.
We also offer Disclosure and Baring Service checks (DBS), through our respected third party provider. These checks include DBS (of all levels and as appropriate for the role being recruited to) and Children’s Barred List (formally List 99).
Our school appeals team has over ten years’ experience at organising and managing the administration of school admission appeals. We ensure our admission appeals are legislation compliant, procedurally correct and fair for both schools and appellants.
Our service currently covers the majority of maintained and academy schools across the borough of Thurrock, as well as some secondary schools.
