Power of Coaching (POC) Programme 3

This is a THREE session programme promoting effective coaching.

Outline

The POC programme has been designed by the creators of the ITP and OTP to enhance the leadership of teaching and learning through promoting effective coaching. Our Thurrock programmes are facilitated by experienced school leaders and teachers it is part of the OLEVI Teaching & Learning Syllabus, which has gained a national reputation for raising standards in teaching and learning.
This programme provides Primary & Secondary School Team, Middle and Senior Leaders with the skills, strategies and techniques to bring about change using ‘Coaching’ as a mechanism, whether for; Leadership, Teaching and Learning in the classroom, or when working with other adults across the organisation.

Description

The POC:
Provides opportunities for delegates to engage in a range of activities and access theories behind effective coaching practices
Exemplifies how to implement coaching in a range of professional contexts from the classroom to the training room
Enables delegates to select their own coaching model to articulate to others
Links coaching to outstanding practice and how to achieve outstanding learning.
