Childcare Sufficiency - Final Report - May 2018
30-hours childcare was rolled-out across England and Thurrock from September 2017, after a series of test programmes and early implementation. It aims to provide funded early years provision for up to a maximum of 30 hours per week (based on 38 weeks of the year, a maximum of 1,140 hours per year) for children of working parents. The funding follows set criteria, and parents must apply for a code to gain access to the funding, updating their details regularly the weekly total within the annual maximum hours.
